Elvia Wilk’s OVAL coming in the UK

CCLA is pleased to announce that Peninsula Press will publish Elvia Wilk’s debut novel OVAL in the UK.

Praised by Molly Young as “Don DeLillo's White Noise updated…minus the satire of academia plus a layer of millennial discontent,” OVAL paints an unsettling and yet all-too-plausible portrait of the culture-capital of Berlin today and soon. It was one of Vulture’s “Best Books of 2019” and a starred Kirkus review called it “[w]itty and alarming, a satire with (unexpected) heart.”
