Gal Beckerman has given Jane Brox’s newest book SILENCE (Houghton Mifflin Harcourt, January 2019) a beautiful review in the New York Times Book Review.  Deckerman notes that SILENCE is “[A] clever bit of counterprogramming,” and that “Coming upon [Silence] was like finding the Advil bottle in the medicine cabinet after stumbling about with a headache for a long time . . . [Brox’s] two settings, scrutinized intensely, present silence as many textured . . . Brox writes beautifully . . .”
