Jeffery Renard Allen is among the short list of five finalists for the 2015 PEN/Faulkner Award for Fiction for his stunning novel, SONG OF THE SHANK (Graywolf Press, 2014).
On March 10th, Judges Alexander Chee, Marc Fitten, and Deirdre McNamer announced their list of finalists, below. The winner will be announced on April 7th, and the 35th Annual PEN/Faulkner Award for Fiction Ceremony & Dinner will be held on May 2nd, at the Folger Shakespeare Library, where each author will read from their work.
